Curl and libcurl 7.9.6 is out! This is mainly a bugfix release.

Get curl 7.9.6 from http://curl.haxx.se/download.html. As usual, allow some
time before the popular binary archives are up-to-date with this.

This release includes the following changes:

 o libcurl skips preceeding white spaces in cookie contents
 o Bugfix: CURLINFO_CONNECT_TIME is now set even when connect fails
 o Added CURLOPT_DEBUGFUNCTION
 o Added two new libcurl error codes.
 o Bugfix: -x didn't use the documented default port
 o RISC OS version now offers --environment
 o Bugfix: HTTP/1.0 304-replies are dealt with better
 o .curlrc is read from the current directory if HOME isn't set
 o Bugfix: curl/curl.h compiles on pre-ISO compilers
 o Bugfix: getting http headers-only could "hang" during 1 second extra
 o Bugfix: verbose passive ftp transfers on AIX could crash
 o Bugfix: improved re-use of dead proxy connections
 o Bugfix: binary HTTP POSTs on Windows did not work (client-code problem)
 o Bugfix: CRLF replacing in uploads was not working
 o Added multi interface man pages, examples and public header files.
 o Bugfix: -G and -d work together again
 o Bugfix: using verbose when doing ftp passive transfers could core dump
 o Bugfix: IPv6 name lookups work again
 o HTTP POST with data passed in with the read callback now works
 o All CURLFORM_* options can now be given in an array
 o CURLFORM_FILENAME was added to libcurl
 o -F supports "filename=" to set the filname field in a multipart formpost
 o Bugfix: --progress-bar works again
 o Bugfix: curl -O segfault removed
