I have received similar fixes from Nico Baggus, so I would appriciate if you
two could communicate in order to produce one single set of changes for me to
apply to the general sources.

Nico also provided a 7.10.3 binary for VMS that is now available from all the
mirrors:

(NOTE: the web pages on the curl site and mirrors have not been updated for
