We are using the --ftp-ssl option.

The command line we are using is as below -

curl -v -4 --cert XXX.pem --cert-type PEM --ftp-create-dirs --ftp-pasv
--ftp-ssl --socks socksxxx.xxx.com:1090 --proxy-user xxx:xxxx --user
xxxx:xxx --url ftp://xxx.xxx.xx.xx:2121/in/test.txt

to get a test file from outside firewall.
any inputs ?
