Has anyone had any success running curl (v0.9.8b) on the mainframe
(USS)?

I've gotten it to build, although I had to tweak the config.h file to
make that happen, but I can't get a simple command 'curl <URL>' to run
correctly.

I get 'Empty reply from server'. Some further tracing shows that after
sending an initial HTTP request, the connection to the remote URL gets
reset.

This may be a configuration issue, or a build configuration issue, but
I'm out of ideas.
