You mean if sftp server uses Openssh, "--append" will not be supported on
curl sftp uploads. Right?

So this is the limitation of ssh deamon not curl sftp client? If I want to
use curl sftp client to append data on uploads, I should use a ssh server
which does not use openssh. Do you know the server which supports
"--append"?
