I'm a noob here and I'm having trouble (Oh! the trouble I'm having :)

I'm trying to log into a password protected site and having some, very limited success...My difficulty is that I dont know where to go to solve the problems I've got.....so...

Would anyone here be prepared to help me specifically by:

Looking at the output from LiveHTTPHeaders when going to the page via a browser

Looking at the LiveHTTPHeaders output when running (and try to emulate the login) from a php script

Looking at the php script

Explaining what the differences are and how to fix them....

A lot to ask, I know but......
