What is the correct way of installing libcurlpp and libcurl at the same time

I put the 2 into 2 different folders

curl --
      |_ curl-7.15.1
      |
      ----curlpp-0.6.0-pre3

where I found in this case some include files like curlpp native include
files can't find libcurl include
such as <curl/curl.h>
So what is the correct way of installing these software? Can't find anything
appropriate on the net...
