On 16 December 2005 I posted to the mailing list:
1) A tiny patch that solves a symbol export problem for 0.6.0 pre3/win32
2) A Makefile for VC
3) A hand-crafted config.h for VC

Perhaps it's worth to include them in the next release. They would ease the
pain of win32 users :-)
