Oh, hang on. I _did_ find a bug in the code that I fixed before this code ran
fine...

Ok, committed now. But this bug I just fixed was introduced with the
hiper-commit I did back in April but this was never part of 7.15.3 and thus
is not the reason to your problem if you didn't use a CVS version.
