heya,

was just taking a look at all the files in the docs directory, and i found
this in INTERNALS(line 38):

 2. Windows requires a couple of init calls for the socket stuff.

   Those must be made by the application that uses libcurl, in curl that
means src/main.c has some code #ifdef'ed to do just that.

is this note still applicable ? or is it done by curl_global_init() ?

oh and, BINDINGS contains this link, which seems to be dead:
