Here is a second patch which I forgotten which allow to provide a
NULL certificate name if the certificate type is ENGINE.

/* set the cert for client authentication */
curl_easy_setopt(curl,CURLOPT_SSLCERT,pCertFile);
curl_easy_setopt(curl,CURLOPT_SSLCERTTYPE,"ENG");
