Hi Jim,

Oh! lot of packages. I think all these packages are for some other purposes
rather than to avoid the error message i have mentioned. I would like to
know if we install any latest curl /curl+libcurl installtions keeps me
away from these errors.

Yes - probably you do. I install the following packages on an AIX system:

pkg-config-0.23-1.aix5.1.ppc.rpm
zlib-1.2.3-5.aix5.1.ppc.rpm

I'm still using curl 7.19.6 so the rev numbers may be different for other
releases.
