You could give us some more info to work with. Like what OS you're using and
what curl_easy_setopt() calls you're doing.

Are you using Windows? Are you using CURLOPT_FILE and CURLOPT_WRITEFUNCTION ?
If so, are you opening the output file handle in "binary" mode?
