Hello,
i've finally found a way to configure curl with openssl.
but now, when i send a https request, i have the following error :
     "Received error code 0 from proxy"
what doest it mean ?

Hi,
i'm using curl 7.8 on HP-UX 10.20
In fact, when i looked at the config.log, i saw that gethostbyname_r() had
not been detected correctly.
I have a problem with the openssl files : while using the option - -
with-ssl=Path, does the Path have to be the path for the libs
( .../openssl09/lib) or the path
for openssl (.../openssl09) ?
It seems that the configure script doesn't find the include files of
openssl (ssl.h,err.h,......)

The name looks very odd indeed. Are you actually using a .cly toplevel
domain?

Which curl version? What operating system? Did the configure script detect
the proper version of the gethostbyname_r() function your OS has?

Can you ping the machine with that name?

Does this problem appear only on one machine? Have you tried from another
one? Have you experienced name resolving problems with other host names?
