Your compiler is probably a K&R one, and curl (current) requires an ANSI C
compiler. Your best bet is to get and use a compiler that is ANSI, like gcc.

I'd willingly and gratefully accept patches that improve this situation, but
you shouldn't expect this from me within a reasonable future.
