Hi,
I noticed that curl reports errors for certificates issued for a whole
domain like *.safe-order.net
I tested with https://ajax.safe-order.net/

curl 7.10.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.10.1 OpenSSL/0.9.6 zlib/1.0.8

If needed I could provide a patch but I'm not sure if I can make it portable
enough
