Hey

This is yet another attempt to fix the issue 12 problem in the TODO-RELEASE,
discussed and mentioned by several people. I have not received much feedback
on my previous patches though....

This one breaks the test suite when applied, and I'm working on a slight
rewrite of the HTTP server to make it deal with the situation better. (That's
why this isn't committed yet).

I don't think this patch does any harm, but only improves things.
