RE: Download ascii file with FTP client Solaris and other server (aix, hpux, vms, True64unix)

Hellooooo,

There is a way to circumvent this problem?
Maybe, analyse the file after download?
Or directly correct in the source code (but which source file?)

Somebody had certainly the same problem already...(download an ascii file is very current)
How do you resolve it?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, FTP ASCII transfers are not done right by libcurl. This issue
is mentioned in the TODO document (and probably should be added to the
KNOWN_BUGS one).

I would very much appreciate a patch that corrects this problem!
