No it's clear but there are some other questions about this issue:

1.) there are some timeout-params at
http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/curl_easy_setopt.html how i get the info
which of this timeouts have occured?

2.) when i want to write a benchmark i need the following flow:
   2.1) connect with -n $USERS <= how can curl_multi help here?
   2.2) was all connects successful <= how can curl_multi help here?
   2.3) run requests, thats looks clear for me
   2.4) get Infos from the curl_easy-handlers, thats looks clear for me
