I just noticed this doesn't work for "ftp://ftp.fifi.org/"
but "anonymous_at_example.com" works.

Actually. it looks like just about anything will work
except "ftp"

Of course, it would be impossible to second-guess all
the servers in the world, but I thought it was worth
mentioning here...
