Hi all,
since at the link I posted before there was only an somewhat outdated non-ssl 7.15.0 version available, I tried to compile the Perl WWW-Curl 3.02 module self for ActivePerl, and after another painful MSVC compiler session I finally got a statically linked WWW-Curl Perl binding:
