I get the feeling that the most active libssh2 developers are those that are
involved in libcurl as well, and I believe (lib)curl is one of the major
libssh2 users anyway...

I'll post a question to the libssh2 list and see what people say there.

After all, the functionality can go into libcurl now first anyway and if/once
libssh2 has the functionality we can take it out again.

We're in a feature-freeze atm so it won't happen until after the upcoming
7.17.1 release.
