Finally my script [1] is working fine. How am i supposed to avoid
any output of this script (verbose mode is now off)? I don't want
to see any data on the screen whatsoever.

I just want to check the return code of 'my $ret = $curl->perform'.
Which option i have to set to make that happen?

I reluctantly want to redirect the STDOUT handle or something like

Thank you!

Kind regards,
