well, honestly: Partick and I tried in the past to create a build system
for the curl-java binding since existing stuff was way outdated and
staic, therefore the hacks to create the libcurl-dependent files
dynamically at build time; the Java class hack was my idea mainly for
Win32 platform where we dont want to have the Java developers install
Perl only for building the libcurl binding; the original script was
writen in Perl:

That's what SVN is good for: we can play with, and revert changes if
needed...; I would though propose a package name with 'haxx' instead of
'gknw' :)
