Please do not top-post?

Besides questioning the use of a CComBSTR being passed as an argument
to curl_formadd, have you checked the curl return value of the
function that fails? I'm just guessing curl_easy_perform() fails, due
to a lack of details in your first post. A complete, standalone
program that fails is also pretty handy, along with a description of
version of relevant software (curl version, OS, development
environment..) [1]
