The other one that had this is files.findlaw.com which is even older
Apache 1.3.29, but they seem to have fixed it because I'm not able to
repeat the problem for the last few days. I'm now waiting for more
information from Akamai and if they can't fix it I'll have to use a
modified curl version to avoid this.

OT. Does anybody knows if there is a way to distinguish between the
different data errors in zlib apart from z->msg. I'm currently trying
to ignore only the ISIZE check errors and zlib seems to return
Z_DATA_ERROR in quite a lot of cases
