Yeah, it turns out that I was doing a printf somewhere, and many tests rely on checking stdout, so those all failed due to the errant printf. False alarm...

Thinking about it, if you checkout a fresh copy next to your working copy and
run the existing tests there you could easily compare which failures you
introduced and which already exists...
