Thank you. I've pushed this commit now. As you will see, I did some edits to
move away the actual implementation of the setter-function to the resolver
backend source code. To make it better structured, but also because
ARES_VERSION wasn't actually defined in the source code it was referenced in
so it wouldn't work... =)

I didn't actually test this feature yet so I'll appreciate feedback!
