See attachment for my slightly updated version and work in progress. I just
fixed two compiler warnings.

I'm right now at a point where test 311 always fails with a "curl returned 52,
when expecting 51" which to me looks like a pure PolarSSL bug (I'm at version
1.1.1) but I haven't really investigated this completely yet so I can't tell
for sure at this point. I'll get back on this.
