Couldn't connect to http://IP:PORT/xxxx

Hi,
I want to know how can I get data from address format like
http://IP:PORT/xxxx,
for example http://61.4.185.48:81/g/, it works fine when I paste to
Firefox,
but won't in curl (C Programming)
