Just acciedently I came over this site:

really curious what version they might offer I clicked the download
button ...
suprisingly FF told me that the download came from haxx.se ...
now even more curious I checked the link, and guess what: its the source
zip from:
http://curl.haxx.se/download/curl-7.26.0.zip
without any binary inside! I guess thats not what most expect when they
go there and hope to find something running on Win7 ... :-)

So now we know: Win7 users always have to build from source! Cool!
