Anthony approached me some weeks ago and asked if it is possible to
make use of built-in Windows functions in order to provide the hashing
functionality required by Metalink.

Yes, it is entirely possible with the built-in CryptoAPI and I just
finished a working implementation. I tested it on Windows 7 against
libmetalink 0.1.2.

Attached you will find the implementation itself and some changes I
had to make to the MinGW makefile in order to be actually able to
built curl against the latest libmetalink.

Please take a look at the patches. I would appreciate any feedback on this.

Testing is needed to make sure it also works on Windows XP and older.
