Hiya,

Mmmmm. Okay that's that theory out the Window :(

Yes, please feel free to drop me a PM with the logs.

Also, do you have access to the Windows SSPI build of curl that you can run, as it's authentication messages are formulated by the Windows API, so I would be interested to know if it is a problem with curl or possibly a server config?

Kind Regards

Steve

E-mail authentication fails when email server supports DIGEST-MD5 authentication mechanism.
Auth fails when the server EHLO response contains these auth mechanisms:
250-AUTH DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5
250-AUTH=DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5
The curl/library selects digest-md5 and the auth fails.
Auth is OK when the server EHLO response does not contains digest-md5 mechanism:
250-AUTH CRAM-MD5
250-AUTH=CRAM-MD5
Details:
- Debian wheezy (stable)
