Using curl for https requests

Folks,

I have a question in using curl to send https request.
If I use the following command I get an error.

[malli@olinux1 src]# ./curl https://10.132.16.10
curl: (35) SSL: error:14090086:SSL
routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certific
ate verify failed
[malli_at_olinux1 src]#

This is expected but is there a way to make curl ignore any certificate
similar to any
browser. If it is a netscape browser it prints the message and asks the
user for a series of
steps before continue.

Is there a similar way in curl. Please reply to me.

thanks in advance,
Malli
