Most likely the "Current Working Directory" for BB is different than what you're expecting. Have you run a search of the whole computer for the trace-file? I'll bet it's on there somewhere.

When it's invoked by BB, there's nothing, no trace file. Hm..

That means curl wasn't even ran?

But then if that's the case, I wonder how come its output ended up in BBOUT
(BB's logfile)....?
