Summary: SSL handshaking fails

Initial Comment:
Hi all,

 We have strange messages from command line
("Handshaking fails" : curl: (35) SSL:error:000000001)
 in windows environment when trying to access a distant
server with xml. It was working fine with older version
before 7.10. It works fine with 7.9.8 and the appropriate
version of ssl libs. It seems ok with the version of curl
and ssl from a sun box under solaris 2.6.

We tried several version of ssl and 7.9.8 is working fine
for all our usages.

Sample command:
 
curl
-m 5
-u login:password
-b "My cookie string"
-H "Content-type:text/xml"
-d @my_request_file.xml
-o their_answer_file.xml
https://their_IP_address/
