I am trying to get curl to work
with a Stirling Commerce ssl over ftp site.

One of the requirements is that I use port 20021.

I use :

/usr/bin/curl -v -u xxxx:xxxxx ftp://test.www.dds.tstbank.com:20021/

and get the error message :

< 220 <<<Connect:Enterprise UNIX 2.1.00 Secure FTP>>> at rscedev FTP
server ready. Time = 19:27:21
> USER xxxx
< 503 Bad sequence of commands, must secure connection before USER
command.
* Closing connection #0
curl: (12) Odd return code after USER
