I've now received it fine. I compared it to my changes and found my mistake. I
modified it slightly more and committed the fix.

My opinion on this subject is clear. They are too strict in requiring the
client to do the SSL negotiation early. curl works fine with numerous other
FTPS implementation, which should give a hint.

But, with this change it should work fine with even more servers!

I didn't apply or commit that ignore pasv-ip part as I'm not happy with that
solution.
