This certificate works on other systems which are not behind a firewall.
My guess is our firewall may be blocking some of the authentication. If
I'm able to find the answer I'll definitely post it, this issue has been
ongoing for some time.

Previous users with this problem have fixed it by making sure the server
end is doing the right thing and that you're using the right (and
functional) client certificate. Like this:
