Windows Install Opening and Immediately Closing

I just installed curl 7.19.4 on my laptop. I'm running Windows XP and I
installed the non-SSL version. When I open curl.exe it opens and then
immediately closes. Am I missing something? I thought it was supposed to
stay open so I could use the command line. Any help would be much
appreciated.
