An example of the curl usage:

curl -v -A "Mozilla/4.73 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.15 i686)" -b
lcookie.lwp -c lcookie.lwp --output "ctest3.dat" -e
"https://cmshr.sjsu.edu..." -L "https://cmshr.sjsu.ed...."

the
 -b - the cookie file if needed
 -c -the cookie file if needed

--output -file to write output to
-e -the referer if needed
-L -url to fetch, and follow any redirects..
