Notice the exact wording. You need to replace "-c" with "-C -".

Your command should thus instead look like:

 curl -C - -o /Users/dragon/3d-klondike-10a.hqx \
 ftp://mirrors.aol.com/pub/info-mac/game/3d-klondike-10a.hqx

(The only reason -c is being deprecated is that we need to free some single
letter options.)
