Hi. I'm hoping someone here might've come across this before.

I got myself into trouble by passing a local string into the proxy address
setup and that was corrupting as it's not copied inside curl and I had
assumed it was. Did anyone run into this before ?

If so, maybe you found the same deal with another of the functions ? My
code is actually being run elsewhere as I don't have a proxy setup the same
as the machine we're ultimately running on, so I can't test as well as I'd
like to.

In case I've confused you, that's probably about right - I got no clue where
my bug is. I know that my app works just fine with no proxy and that at
least one of the proxy related features has this dependency on static data.
Are there any more ?
