you might want to try adding this line to display the output to the console:
     curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_VERBOSE, 1);
 or you can redirect it to a file
     example :
      curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_WRITEDATA, file);
    // CUROPT_WRITEDATA will write the actual data only without the header
information
