See docs/KNOWN_BUGS item #23 where it says:

  "libcurl doesn't support FTPS over a SOCKS proxy."

We bascially already have all the necessary code to add support for this, but
nobody has yet put the pieces together in the correct order to make this work.
We'll appreciate your help!
