Summary: caching features? any?

Initial Comment:
Hi. I'm noticing that if I browse a curlftpfs mounted dir filled with images in Nautilus (under ubuntu, see my bugreport for details), that when I change from "Icon view" to "List view", all the images in the directory are downloaded (a 2nd time), resulting in a long wait each time I slightly change the view of a directory with images (i'm on DSL but the server's in another country)..

Are there any caching features in curlftpfs?
If not, want me to add 'm? :)

This is not a tracker for curlftpfs features, but for curl/libcurl.
