The point I am making is that sometimes you may have such URI. For example,
lets say the server is running on a windows machine and the file name has
spaces in it(this happens all the time on windows), so therefore curl should
escape such things and that also applies to every other character that is
not printable. Either way you look at it, it should check the URI at least
because i am sure that it is not allowed in the RFC.
