I got this bug report earlier this evening (posted by Dave Hamilton) and it
clearly indicates a problem that Dave can only see when using curl from PHP.

While I don't think this is a PHP problem, I could really some help on this.
Perhaps some insights on how I could go ahead and debug this. I am not a PHP
person!

I can't repeat this problem with the command line client on his server (Dave
mailed me the URL privately).
