hi everyone,

i'm new at this and following the instructions to install curl for php
here:
http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/php/install.html

what does it mean in "step 1 for build openssl" when it says "To get
correct configure option for step 2"???

here's what i get:
[root@****** openssl-0.9.6b]# ./config -t
Operating system: i686-whatever-linux2
Configuring for linux-elf
/usr/local/bin/perl ./Configure linux-elf

here is more info about my directory structure:
[root@****** openssl-0.9.6b]# find / -name openssl -print
/etc/serverxchange/services/openssl
/etc/serverxchange/services/services_scripts/openssl
/usr/bin/openssl
/usr/include/openssl
/usr/lib/opcenter/install_scripts/services/openssl

any direction you can give me is appreciated :-)
