There's no reason to be rude. There's a link in the footer of every single
mail sent from this mailing list that features an unsubscribe option.

If that isn't enough, every mail also contains unsubscribe info as headers,
including a description on how to unsubscribe by sending a mail.

You NEVER EVER unsubscribe from a mailing list by mailing the list itself.
